I'm afraid that the left arm pull might be dangerous. Before reading TGM that was more or less my conception of a swing, the left arm pulls the club. But then one tends to actually muscularly pull the left arm... away from the body ! That would be steering. I think that having the body pushing on the (inert) left arm that automatically pulls the club is a better image. I guess Homer would say even more: the right shoulder going downplane (at least for TSP player) "pushes around" the left shoulder, that pushes on the left arm etc...
Another reason to put our mind on the right side is PP3 to monitor lag pressure.
Maybe you'd like to think of a right hand karate chop rather than a left side chop?

Thanks - I'm always open to suggestions. What problems we have in the swing differ from player to player. I'm very keen on trying to swing inside-to-out. If my feel/focus on the left arm/hand/wrist works - I'll keep it. If not, I'll have to do it differently and then I'll keep your comment in mind...

How is your golf game going? What has worked for you lately?

I'm using about 10 strokes more than I was hoping for. Poor driving (slice) and putting and problems with the short game and pitching (duffing). I'm not making positive use of the things I have learned. However the conditions have been very wet and difficult the last month, but I should have been doing a lot better...even with the Breivik cloud hanging over us...
Thanks for asking - I hope to give a more positive rapport in the near future.

LIne up at IMpact Fix and keep your head there. RFT to TOP (don't let your left wrist roll toward your shoulder. Keep it Flat! Do slow waggles leading with your right elbow then practice shots, slower than faster! Do it 50%, 75%, full tilt! Keep your head over your left hip, stationary, adjust as needed! Try it and watch your balls go down the middle!
I'm not trying to be presumptive just enthusiastic!

Grab your left wrist with your right hand and bend your elbow. Keep your left wrist flat. That one move gives you all the Pivot you need. The rest is Hitting/Driving Shoulder technique with the Right Forearm Flying Wedge Locked back Shoulder drives the RFFW and then triceps drive Axe handle! LOOK, LOOK, LOOK at what it does and remember Impact Fix. It is sublime!
Slowly with chips, then pitches, then 1/2 shots, then.....

Search "Hitting" and do it with chips, Basic Motion, but stay at Impact Fix with a flat left wrist. With this technique, less is more, a short RFT will give you 90% of your Swing with great accuracy!
