Great thread, 2-J-3 -B Angle of Approach is one of the most puzzling concept of the book, for me at least. I'd love to watch a video explanation from Lynn or Ted. Any chance to nail that down without an AI help ? |

Educated and polite hands?
Listen to what your hands are saying to your body when you have taken your address position. They would be saying “Okay body take me back to the top of the backswing.”
At the top of the backswing the hands would say “Thank-you body for taking me back to the top of the swing. Thank you feet because the weight has moved from your left to your right side. Thank you knees as the right knee stayed steady and the left knee moved inwards towards your right knee. Thank you hips as we now have a forty-five degree hip turn. Thank you shoulders as they have turned a good ninety degrees.”
Then the hands say to the body “ Bring me down”. Through the correct motion of the body pivot, the arms, hands and club will be brought down to a fully stored position known as the release point. The hands now say “ Thank you and take me through to the finish of the swing.
